COMMANDER'S INTENT
The D-Rock Norwegian Foot March is a 30km (18.6 mile) test of mental and physical grit held in Pennsylvania. Open to military and elite civilians, the event follows the strictly regulated standards of the Norwegian Armed Forces to earn the prestigious Marsjmerket badge.
KEY RULES & REGULATIONS
GEAR & WEIGHT
Rucksack must weigh at least 24.25 lbs. Mandatory weight checks are conducted before deployment and immediately upon arrival at the finish line. 10 lbs of weight must consist of non-perishable food for donation. Tactical or athletic apparel is strictly required.
CONDUCT
Immediate disqualification for any deviation from the marked path or receiving outside assistance. Maintain total military integrity and discipline throughout the duration of the march. Unsportsmanlike behavior results in immediate course removal.
SAFETY
Headlamp and emergency water supply are mandatory for all participants. Cut-off times are strictly enforced per age group. Operatives failing to meet checkpoints within specified windows will be classified as DNF for safety reasons.

FEE INCLUSIONS
The registration fee covers comprehensive course logistics, tactical support, synchronized timing services, and the official Marsjmerket badge for successful qualifiers.
REFUND DIRECTIVE
All registration fees are strictly non-refundable. All processed entries are final; no exceptions are granted for medical or schedule conflicts.
MANDATORY DOCUMENTATION
Submission of a signed liability waiver and emergency contact information is mandatory at signup. Incomplete data sets will result in registration failure.

TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
Advanced fitness level required. The Norwegian Ruck March is an extreme endurance test. Participants must be prepared to maintain a rigorous pace over 30km of variable Pennsylvania terrain with a minimum 24lb load.
WEATHER POLICY
The event proceeds rain or shine. Precipitation does not halt the mission. Ensure all uniforms, boots, and tactical rucksacks are waterproofed and mission-ready for the forecasted conditions.
INJURY PROTOCOL
Medics are stationed at strategic checkpoints along the 30km route. If you suffer a disabling injury, remain on the marked path and signal the nearest support team for extraction and medical assessment.
PARKING AND ARRIVAL
Reserved parking is located at the on-site staging area. All participants must report for initial weigh-in and gear inspection at 0630 hours. Failure to arrive on time may result in disqualification.
EXTREME WEATHER SAFETY
Safety is non-negotiable. Only life-threatening conditions—such as localized lightning or extreme flash flooding—will cause a delay or route alteration. The Event Director retains final authority on march status.
