MISSION MANIFEST: 

Your ruck must contain non-perishable food items for donation to a local food bank. Every step strengthens the community.

RULES & MILITARY HONORS

WEIGHT REQUIREMENT

All participants must carry a rucksack weighing at least 24.25 lbs.  Weight checks are mandatory before and after the march. 10lbs of the weight must be Non-Perishable foods and at the end of the Ruck, the foods will be donated to a local food bank.

DISTANCE STANDARDS

The course spans exactly 30km (18.6 miles) of variable Pennsylvania terrain. Participants must remain on the marked path.

UNIFORM CODE

Military personnel must wear duty uniforms. Civilians must wear tactical gear or athletic apparel suitable for rugged field conditions.

THE NORWEGIAN BADGE

Successful completion leads to the Norwegian Foot March Badge (Marsjmerket), a prestigious honor established in 1915.

TIME THRESHOLDS

Time limits are strictly enforced by age group. Typically, those 18-34 must finish in 4:30:00 (men) or 4:50:00 (women).

PROGRESSION HONORS

Participants can work toward bronze, silver, and gold badges based on consecutive years of successful completion.
